How to Create Email Accounts

Every adxhost hosting package includes the ability to create custom email addresses using your domain (e.g. info@yourdomain.com). These professional email accounts are perfect for businesses, brands, or personal use.

Follow the steps below to create email accounts in cPanel.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

You can access your cPanel by either:

  • Logging into your adxhost Client Area at https://adxhost.com/billing, navigating to Services → My Services, selecting your hosting plan, and clicking “Login to cPanel”

    OR

  • Visiting https://yourdomain.com/cpanel directly and entering your cPanel username and password

Step 2: Open the Email Accounts Section

Once in cPanel:

  1. Scroll to the Email section

  2. Click on Email Accounts

This will take you to the interface for managing your email addresses.

Step 3: Create a New Email Account

  1. Click the Create button

  2. Select the domain you want to use (if you have multiple domains on your account)

  3. Enter a Username – this becomes the first part of the email (e.g. “sales” for sales@yourdomain.com)

  4. Set a Password or use the Generate button to create a secure one

  5. Choose the Storage Space limit or select “Unlimited” (within your account’s quota)

  6. Click Create

Your email account will now be created.

Step 4: Access Your Email

After creation, you can access your mailbox in a few ways:

  • Webmail: Go to https://yourdomain.com/webmail and log in using the full email address and password

  • Email Client: Use software like Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird

  • Phone or Tablet: Set up your email using IMAP or POP (settings are available in cPanel)

Email Client Settings (IMAP/POP)

To connect your email to a device or software, cPanel provides the settings:

  1. Go back to the Email Accounts section

  2. Click “Connect Devices” next to your email address

  3. You’ll find the exact configuration for:

    • IMAP (Recommended)

    • POP3

    • SMTP (for sending)

Use these details in your device’s email setup.
