When you purchase hosting, domains, or add-on services from adxhost, you may benefit from promotional or discounted introductory pricing. Renewal pricing refers to the standard cost you’ll be charged when your service term ends and it’s time to renew.
This article explains how renewal pricing works and what to expect.
Introductory vs. Renewal Pricing
Many services are offered at a reduced price for the initial term (e.g., first month or first year). These are introductory prices intended to give new customers a low-cost entry point.
At the end of your initial term, the service will renew at its regular rate, which may be higher than the introductory price.
Where to View Renewal Rates
You can view your upcoming renewal prices by following these steps:
-
Log in to your Client Area: https://adxhost.com/billing
-
Go to Services → My Services or Domains → My Domains
-
Select a product or domain to view its renewal date and renewal pricing
Upcoming invoices will also show your renewal amounts under Billing → My Invoices.
Renewal Pricing Breakdown
Here’s what typically applies:
-
Domains: Renewal pricing follows standard registry rates unless you purchased multiple years in advance.
-
Hosting Plans: If you purchased a discounted plan (monthly, yearly, etc.), it will renew at the regular package rate for the same billing cycle.
-
Add-Ons: Services like WHOIS privacy, backups, and SSL certificates renew at full price unless bundled in a package.
For example, a hosting plan bought at $19.99 for the first year might renew at $39.99 per year afterward.
Discounts on Multi-Year Renewals
Choosing a longer billing cycle (1–3 years) at checkout often provides better value over time. We offer tiered pricing, meaning the longer you commit, the lower your annual cost.
This applies to both initial purchases and renewals if you choose to extend the service term.
Renewal Reminders
adxhost sends renewal notifications before services expire, giving you time to:
-
Review the upcoming cost
-
Make adjustments to your services
-
Renew early or update your payment method
