4. Understanding Renewal Pricing
When you purchase a service, you may receive a discounted introductory price. Renewal pricing is based on the standard cost of the service.
Here’s what to know:
-
Domain Renewals: Domains renew at the regular registry rate unless you purchase multiple years upfront.
-
Hosting Plans: Hosting services renew at the rate for your selected billing cycle. Annual or multi-year plans typically offer better value than monthly plans.
-
Add-ons and Extras: Optional services like WHOIS Privacy, SSL certificates, and backups also renew at their regular rates.
You can review upcoming renewal costs in the Billing → My Invoices section or by viewing your service details under Services → My Services.
