WordPress is one of the most popular website builders in the world — perfect for blogs, business websites, portfolios, and online stores. With adxhost, you can install WordPress in just a few clicks using your cPanel.
Follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1: Log in to Your cPanel
You can access cPanel two ways:
Option 1 – From Your adxhost Client Area:

Log in and go to Services → My Services

Click your hosting package, then click “Login to cPanel”
Option 2 – Directly via URL:
Type https://yourdomain.com/cpanel
Log in with your cPanel username and password (from your welcome email)
Step 2: Open Softaculous App Installer
Once inside cPanel:

Scroll down to the “Softaculous Apps Installer” section

Click on the WordPress icon
This will launch the WordPress installation wizard.
Step 3: Fill Out the Installation Form
Click “Install Now”, then fill in the following details:
➤ Software Setup

Choose Protocol: Use https:// if you have an SSL certificate

Choose Domain: Select the domain where WordPress will be installed

In Directory: Leave blank if you want to install on the main domain (yourdomain.com), or type a folder name (like blog)
➤ Site Settings

Site Name: Your website title (can be changed later)
-
Site Description: A short description of your site
➤ Admin Account

Admin Username: Create a unique username (don’t use “admin”)

Admin Password: Use a strong password
-
Admin Email: This is where WordPress will send alerts and recovery info
Optional: Choose a Theme
Softaculous gives you the option to pick a free theme now or skip this step and choose one later from your WordPress dashboard.
Step 4: Click “Install”
Click the “Install” button at the bottom of the page.
You’ll see a progress bar — in a few moments, your WordPress site will be ready!
Step 5: Access Your WordPress Site
After the installation finishes, you’ll see two links:

Your Site: https://yourdomain.com

Admin Login: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin
Log in to your WordPress dashboard using the username and password you just created.
